Every year since 2003 Design Within Reach holds their champagne chair competition, in which entrants are asked to build a tiny chair out of the corking hardware of no more than two champagne bottles, which includes wire, foil and cork.

In 2005 my entry, the "Spiral Chair," was chosen among others to go "on tour," stopping at several DWR studios around the US.
